TabTangle is designed for no-account browser use. The app is meant for quick bill splitting at the table, without asking people to create profiles first.

What to enter

Only enter the information needed to settle the bill: short names or labels, the bill items, and payment amounts. Avoid sensitive personal data.

Browser-first behavior

Tonight’s version works directly in the browser so the experience stays fast and friction-light. The app may keep the current draft locally in your browser so you do not lose the table while editing.

No account wall

You do not need to sign up to use TabTangle. That is intentional: the core job is quick settlement, not long onboarding.

Practical expectation

Use simple labels, review the copied summary before sending it, and clear the browser draft if you were using a shared device.
