Lineup first, math second
WeaveCue starts from the strand lineup because outer colors usually travel farther than center colors. The planner uses the assigned slot positions to set safer thread estimates instead of giving one flat number to every strand.
What drives the estimate
- Finished bracelet length in centimetres
- Tie allowance for loops, tails, and closure space
- Whether the preview style is chevron or candy stripe
- How far each strand sits from the centre of the lineup
Why the outer colors are longer
In many common bracelet patterns, edge strands do more travelling. WeaveCue reflects that by adding extra multiplier room to outer slots so makers are less likely to run short late in the bracelet.
About the preview rows
The rhythm preview is a planning aid. It shows the color cadence and balance you can expect, but it is not meant to replace a stitch-perfect knot chart for advanced patterns.
Practical tip
If you work with fuzzy yarn, thick cord, or unusually tight knots, cut a little longer than the default estimate. WeaveCue is designed to reduce guesswork, not to stop you from adding a personal safety margin.
